We are currently looking for an
AREA SALES MANAGER
This position, directly managed by the Sales & Marketing Head Office (based in Dijon, France), will have the task to assure the attainment of the sales and profits objectives for some European and some overseas markets in an optical of maximum cost effectiveness, through the set up and the implementation of sales policies and business development plans in coherence with the business strategies agreed. He/She will overlook the local exclusive distributors in order to achieve their performance indicators.
The person will have the following responsibilities:
§ Search for new distributors on the assigned areas
§ Establish monthly forecasts of its territories
• To support the sales policies for the specific assigned areas accordingly to the targets agreed with the Sales & Marketing Head Office, and ensure business development plans through the exclusive distributors; he/she will have the role of developing and increasing commercial networking throughout the different markets.
• To conduct market research and competitors analysis for products and commercial policies in order to feedback the relevant information to the Sales & Marketing Head Office and properly positioning the Company brand in the assigned territories.
• To deploy effectively the policies defined by the Sales & Marketing Management
• To develop sales actions on the relevant markets in order to improve market share of the company brand, ensuring the maximum economic return on the company investments.
• To establish customer loyalty through a customer focused approach, in coherence with standard and strategies defined by the Sales & Marketing Unit.
• To participate in the organization of local exhibitions guaranteeing the high turnover of qualified business prospects.
• To establish reports to the Sales & Marketing managers on a periodic basis.
Basic qualifications required are a degree in economical subjects and the perfect knowledge of English language (mandatory), another language would be a plus. The ideal candidate must have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the bike industry. The position involves numerous business trips.
