TERMS AND CONDITIONS ROXY GIVEAWAY

Participation in the giveaway requires acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

1. PARTICIPATION

To enter the giveaway, participants must actively subscribe to the Lapierre newsletter.

The giveaway starts with the publication of the 4-part post series as part of the giveaway on July 9, 2025, at 5:00 pm (CET) and ends on July 31, 2025, at 5:00 pm (CET).

Participation is free of charge and not linked in any way to the purchase of products. Anyone aged 18 or older residing in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland is eligible to participate. Employees of the Accell Group and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate.

2. PRIZE AND DRAW

The giveaway prizes are provided by Lapierre SAS.

Prize: Online mountain bike coaching with our athlete Roxy.

Prize draw:

The winners will be drawn at random on August 5, 2025, from all participants who have newly subscribed to the Lapierre newsletter and will be contacted via direct message (DM). The selected winners have 5 days to respond to the direct message and confirm acceptance of their prize. If they do not respond within these 5 days, they forfeit their right to claim the prize. Winners will be announced via email to the address provided.

INFORMATION ACCORDING TO ART. 13 GDPR

Lapierre processes your personal data as defined in Art. 4 GDPR, including:

exclusively for the purposes listed here: processing the giveaway and subsequently sending out the newsletter.

Your data will not be passed on to third parties – except to commissioned data processors as defined in Art. 28 GDPR or the operator of this network (Facebook / META) – nor within the Accell Group. Your data will be automatically and irreversibly deleted after the purpose has expired and any statutory retention periods have ended.

Please note that Facebook (META) and possibly other service providers are based outside the European Economic Area (USA).

WE POINT OUT THAT THE USA IS NOT A SAFE THIRD COUNTRY IN TERMS OF EU DATA PROTECTION LAW.

We have no influence over this data processing.

Furthermore, the Facebook (META) Promotion Guidelines apply.

The winner expressly agrees that the organiser may use images relating to the prize and its execution for media purposes within its websites and social media channels. Objections pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR or further assertion of data subject rights can be addressed at any time to the Data Protection Officer (Dipl.-Ing. 4. PREMATURE TERMINATION

The organisers reserve the right to terminate or modify the giveaway at any time without prior notice if proper execution can no longer be guaranteed due to technical reasons (e.g. hardware and software failures, computer viruses or manipulations) or legal reasons.

5. ORGANISER

The organiser of the giveaway is Lapierre SAS.

6. FACEBOOK (META)/INSTAGRAM DISCLAIMER

This giveaway is in no way connected to Facebook and is in no way sponsored, supported, or organised by them. The sole contact and responsible party is the organiser as stated in section 5.

7. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE

If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall remain unaffected. Instead of the invalid provision, the legally permissible regulation shall apply which comes closest to the economic intent of the invalid provision. The same applies if there is a gap in these terms and conditions.
