Lapierre unveils the new Xelius DRS Team Bike for Team Picnic PostNL in the 2026 UCI WorldTour
Lapierre and Team Picnic PostNL have officially kicked off the 2026 UCI WorldTour season with the presentation of the new Lapierre Xelius DRS Team Bike, revealed during a dedicated photo and video production in Calpe.
The launch marks the beginning of the second season of the partnership between Lapierre and Team Picnic PostNL, timed perfectly with the start of the WorldTour at the Tour Down Under (17–25 January). For 2026, Lapierre introduces a bold new look combined with measurable performance upgrades.
A new design that reveals the carbon DNA
The new Xelius DRS features an exclusive glitter clearcoat finish that highlights the raw carbon fibre structure of the frame, giving the bike a distinctive, high-end and race-ready appearance that stands out in the peloton.
Lighter, faster, more aerodynamic
Beyond the visuals, the Xelius DRS has been technically refined to meet the demands of the UCI WorldTour. Working closely with the performance division of Team Picnic PostNL, Lapierre’s R&D teams focused in particular on the fork design, delivering a bike that is lighter and more aerodynamic than its predecessor — built for maximum efficiency at the highest level of racing.
From the WorldTour to the road: Team Replica coming in May
The new Xelius DRS will not only be seen in the biggest races of the 2026 season, but also plays a central role in Lapierre’s spring communication campaign. As a highlight for fans and performance-oriented riders, a limited-edition Xelius DRS Team Replica will go on sale in May, featuring the same colour scheme as the official team bike.
With the new Xelius DRS, Lapierre once again demonstrates its commitment to delivering WorldTour-level performance — engineered with professional athletes, refined in competition, and made for riders who demand nothing less than race-winning technology.
